The engine is coupled to a seven-speed S tronic transmission with double clutch electro-hydraulic dipped oil. The assembly produces 400 horsepower and a torque of 354 pounds / foot between 1,700 and 5,850 revolutions per minute.

These figures allow the RS 3 to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0 to 96 kilometers per hour) in 3.9 seconds and that its maximum speed is 174 miles per hour (280 kilometers per hour) when the vehicle is equipped with the Dynamic plus package. From factory, the maximum speed of the RS 3 is of 155 miles per hour (250 km / h).

Another option is the brake system. The standard system is one of ventilated discs on the front and rear wheels with eight pistons painted in black with the RS logo.

But the RS 3 also has a brake system with carbon ceramic discs for the front wheels as part of the Dynamic plus package. Carbon ceramic discs save weight and offer more wear resistance.

The RS 3 comes standard with a Quattro four-wheel drive system that has no pre-set torque distribution and allows the maximum possible power to be sent to the rear axle to improve driving dynamics.

On the outside, the RS 3 2018 has a new front with the Audi Singleframe grille and lower air intakes that give it a more aggressive and sporty look.

At the rear, the design now includes an aileron that rests on a rim of the same color as the body of the vehicle as well as oval exhaust pipes. The vehicle also has a rear diffuser and 19-inch light alloy wheels.
