Volvo Trucks announces a record deal for more than 2,000 Volvo FH to the Lithuanian transport giant Girteka Logistics. The agreement allows one of Europe’s largest transport companies to grow and renew its current fleet of 3,300 trucks.

Roger Alm, president of Volvo Trucks Europe and Mindaugas Raila, president of Girteka Logistics, met at an official delivery ceremony in Gothenburg.

Girteka Logistics is growing rapidly and trucks will be used to renovate its current fleet of 3,300 trucks and to grow the long-haul fleet in Europe, Scandinavia and Russia.

“We are very pleased that one of the leading operators in Europe chooses Volvo Trucks and continues the collaboration that has lasted more than a decade,” says Roger Alm. “Girteka Logistic continuously improves its operational efficiency and customer service.
