JG Automotive collaborates with the UNIRAID Dirty Irons team, formed by Alejandro and Antonio, supporting this NGO that helps the most needy and remote towns of the Maghreb.

After 6 days of rally, touring the different villages of Morocco, full of supportive help, our team tell us how they are facing this adventure.

“The official delivery of the solidarity material was made in Gourama, this year the truck was loaded to the top (tons and tons in a 6-axle truck). The central school, coordinated the delivery of material, and apart from the delivery, we left to this school to enable a computer classroom in the school, with 4 laptops, provided by Enertis.Also there were other projects, such as a bicycle workshop or the installation of Led lights.

After the official delivery, we had 2 stages, distributing some material as we find the populations.

However, we still had 40 KG on board the car, having already delivered approximately 150 kg the previous day.

The Marathon stage passes through the most remote and poor populations in the area. Against the clock, being a complicated area (border between Morocco and Algeria) and difficult to navigate, we deliver almost all the material.

How last year, the most valued and requested, is the school supplies and shoes.

We have noticed, this year, an improvement in the area, with more construction, services, and in general greater wealth.

This year, 170 teams participated, the impact generated has been spectacular. ”
