Maserati Ghibli Granlusso: luxury squared

Automotive News

Opens front bumper with chrome inserts

Also improves in the section of the aids to the driving

Maserati introduces the GranLusso termination in the new Ghibli, just as it did with the Quattroporte. In both cases, this ‘surname’ reinforces even more the luxury that in itself is attributed to any model that carries the trident in its hood. These are the first images of a model to debut in China on August 25 at the Chengdu Auto Show to open a showcase to the thriving Asian market.

Externally, this sport sedan, launched four years ago and updated, features a new front bumper with chrome inserts and a front grille with chrome bars. These two details are in line with the style defined in the latest Maserati models. The GranLusso version of the Quattroporte already emphasized the use of elements such as 20-inch Mercury wheels or silk-lined interiors designed by Emenegildo Zegna.

On the side, the Ghibli GranLusso is ‘tattooed’ GranLusso logo, located between the front wheel pass and the side skirt. If you drag your eyes with the body of the Ghibli GranLusso you will find a new rear bumper, attached to the rear diffuser. According to the manufacturer, “they have been elegantly redesigned to give a new, sharper image.”

In terms of equipment, the Ghibli GranLusso features full LED adaptive headlamps with Matrix High-Beam anti-reflective system. These provide a distinctive image as well as better lighting. To this must be added novelties in other sections as in the one of the aids to the driving, that allow the model to delve into the autonomous conduction; Or aerodynamics.
