From the Fco. Dorado team they tell us how they are going to face this last finish line of the Rally Galicia Rally Championship.
Roi Torrente also has options to be crowned Galician champion in the co-driver category.
The Galician Rally Championship celebrates its end of party this weekend in an unprecedented event. The Rally of Ribeira – Ría de Arousa will be in charge of closing the campaign in the most charismatic regional of the Peninsula, also serving to resolve the titles that have not yet been decided.
At the controls again of the VW Polo GTi R5 (Rally2 category), Francisco Dorado and Roi Torrente will seek to end this final event with good feelings, where they still have mathematical options to get an absolute runner-up of drivers and the contest, also absolute, in the category of navigators.
On paper, the duo from Lugo starts off as one of the favorites for the final victory, although for this, they will need a little more fortune than in the last Rallye San Froilán, to fight against names such as: Alberto Meira or Jorge Pérez, both with two units of the Skoda Fabia R5.
The new event with its epicenter in Ribeira will run through the municipalities of: Rianxo, Boiro, Pobra do Caramiñal and the already mentioned Ribeira. As for the timed, much of the route is unprecedented, combining some already known areas of the Rally de Noia, in the Boiro and Pobra do Caramiñal stages.
