It achieves a reduction of 16% of fuel consumption compared to the V6 of 340 hp, with CO2 emissions of only 163 g / km.
Jaguar has expanded the range of the new F-TYPE with the introduction of a new version of Ingenium gasoline engine and four cylinders endowed with the latest technology. The combination of two-seater aluminum made with the 300 hp turbo 2.0 engine maintains Jaguar’s sporty DNA and great agility, adding more efficiency and a tighter price.
The new model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 249 km / h. The maximum torque of the new turbocharged Ingenium engine is 400 Nm, and is available from as little as 1,500 rpm. Together with the eight-speed Quickshift transmission, it gives the vehicle a good response throughout the rev range.
The 300 hp Ingenium engine is the most powerful four-cylinder engine ever produced by Jaguar and also generates the highest specific power of any other F-TYPE engine: 150 hp per liter. This also makes it the most efficient F-TYPE in the range, with an improvement over 16% in fuel economy compared to the V6 of 340 hp. Together with these two engines, the range completes the V8 of 575 hp.
The new F-TYPE is now available for ordering from the Official Jaguar Dealer Network from 71,100 in its Convertible version and 63,500 euros in the Coupé.
