The German brand has sold 35,636 units in the first three months.
The motorcycle division of BMW has managed to sell 35,636 units from January to March this year around the world equivalent to a growth of 5.5%, which is a record of sales for the consortium.
In the third month of 2017, BMW Motorrad achieved sales in the world market of 18,265 units, representing a progression of almost 11% when compared to the 16,465 units sold in March 2016.
“The current range of products, with many new models, is very popular among our customers,” said Sales and Marketing Manager of German firm Hainer Faust. “This is also reflected by the high number of orders coming in.”
BMW Motorrad said that during this year it will continue its product offensive by launching 14 new updated models or models which will allow them to continue to increase their presence in the different markets and increase their sales level.
In this way, the German consortium will have five new versions in its Nine T range, will incorporate the new G 310 GS and will have two new models with less than 500 cubic centimeters to be launched in the second half of the year.
